Welcome to our new website
Bouse Elementary School is committed to openness, honesty, and public involvement in our communications. We believe that good communication builds credibility, improves relationships, supports teaching and learning, boosts student achievement and our school's overall reputation. We understand that our school belongs to the public, our Bouse community, and that citizens and staff deserve to be fully informed and involved in efforts to educate our community's children.
Bouse Elementary has put in place several avenues of communication to keep parents and community members informed throughout the year. Our proactive plan for disseminating information includes the following components:
- School sign in front of the property
- School newsletter sent out each month
- School web site at http://www.bouseschool.org
- Information reported in local and regional newspapers and other area print and electronic media
- School-wide flyers, memos and other materials sent home when necessary
- Individual classroom newsletters
- Graded work, tests and assignments sent home
- Teacher messages entered in student's folder/agenda
- Teacher phone calls
- Student Progress Reports
- Student Report Cards
- Parent/Teacher conferences
In addition to our proactive communication components, we encourage parents and the community to provide feedback, information and suggestions
