There is no school on Monday, October 16 through Friday, October 20 for fall break. Enjoy your time off!
Bouse Elementary School is hosting its traditional Halloween carnival on Thursday, October 26. We need your help to make this the best Halloween carnival ever. We are looking for businesses or organizations to sponsor and operate our game booths. We will provide the games and prizes. You just decorate the booth, run the games, and give out prizes to the kids. You are also welcome to donate the prizes as well. There will be a contest for the donation of the best decorated cake for the cake walk. Please contact Dorie Strobel for information at (928) 851-2213.
Red Ribbon Week Parade
Bouse Elementary will be facilitating the Bouse red ribbon week parade on Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. The school is working with community stakeholders to continue the tradition of hosting an amazing parade. The parade committee is outreaching for people/organizations to enter floats into the parade. Following the parade the Bouse Elementary School student government is sponsoring a picnic at 11:00 a.m. at the Bouse Community Park. We look forward to seeing you there!
School Garden Program
There are many advantages living in this part of Arizona. One advantage is the temperate temperatures during the fall and winter. The school is taking steps to establish a gardening program for its students. This program will teach students about the importance of agriculture and provide hands on opportunities to incorporate STEM related opportunities for our students. This program will emphasis recycling, sustainability, and foods for proper diet. As we begin this program we seek community support with pots and/or planter beds. We thank you in advance for your support and donations.
